Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-23
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and who it is shared with.
1. Who is responsible for your data
JOVIA SAT LTD, a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales under company number 16705381. Registered office: 2nd Floor, College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London HA4 7AE, United Kingdom. Email: [email protected].
JOVIA SAT LTD is the controller of your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Enjaz Information Technology develops and maintains the platform on our behalf and processes data only on our instructions and for that purpose.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: username, email and password (stored hashed, not reversible).
- Content you upload or write: resumes, documents, texts and voice recordings you ask us to process.
- Usage records: the services you used, your balance and operations, for billing, abuse prevention and improving the service.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number, only the amount and status of the transaction.
3. Why we use it (legal basis)
- Performing our contract with you: creating your account, providing the services you ask for, and managing your balance and payments.
- Our legitimate interests: keeping the platform secure, preventing abuse and fraud, and improving the service.
- Legal obligation: keeping the accounting and tax records the law requires.
4. Who we share it with
To provide the service you asked for, the text or images of your documents are sent to an AI service provider to be processed and the result returned. Voice recordings are converted to text by an external speech-to-text service. Payments are handled by Stripe, and the platform is hosted by a hosting provider. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers are located outside the United Kingdom. When your data is transferred to them, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.
6. Identity documents
If you upload a passport or ID card to build your resume, we extract only the general details (name, date of birth, nationality, gender, place of birth) to verify the spelling of your name. We do not store document numbers or issue/expiry dates, and we do not keep the ID file itself.
7. Retention
- Documents you upload to our tools (translation, summarizing, text extraction, PDF to Word and CV analysis), and the results made from them, are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Original files you upload to build a resume are deleted automatically after 7 days; the details taken from them stay in your resume.
- Voice recordings are not stored after they are converted to text.
- Your resumes and contracts stay in your account until you delete them.
- Payment records are kept for as long as accounting law requires (usually six years).
8. Cookies
We only use essential cookies (your login session and chosen language).
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restrict access to data. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not upload anything you are not comfortable having processed by external services.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access your data or get a copy of it, and to ask us to correct, delete, restrict or transfer it, or to object to how we use it. You can delete your resumes and documents from your account at any time; for anything else, email us at [email protected]. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
11. Changes
We may update this policy; the date of the latest update is shown at the top.
